It seems owners have started to opt for new orders rather than delve into the secondhand market. • Despite Golden Week in Japan and national holidays across the world, the newbuilding market witnessed vigorous newbuilding orders in the tanker market. Total orders amounted to 1,040,000 dwt from 230,000 dwt.
